Yugioh Meta

Today you cant tell what deck is the best to use. Many Duelist are changing their Meta constantly because they cant decide which is best. Blackwings have proven to be very powerfull, with a very good hand you can honestly go for game with Dark Strike Fighter of course but this doesnt always happen. Every duelist knows that they always tend to have those days where they draw crap hands in which they cant do anything. Blackwings do have their downfall when you dont have a single monster in your hand. At the recent regional in the Anaheim convention center, there was a lot of Blackwing decks in play but not all of them got to make it in the top 32 because other decks were able to beat them such as Lightsworn,Gladiator Beasts, Anti-Meta, Twilight, and etc.

Lightsworn has proven to be a very powerfull deck but why has it not won a single Regional or Shonen Jump? Well like i said "Dead Draws" happen to all of us. If Lightworn doesnt mill in the first turn it is basically over or maybe not but going against blackwings for sure it will be. The worst hand to get with Lightsworn Decks is when you draw first hand Wulf, Celestia, Judgment Dragon, Beckoning Light; you are screwed basically because you cant win with that. Twilight, is less consistent than Lightsworn but it tends to work also.

Gladiator Beasts were good back then and still are good now. Against Blackwings, GB's still are able to manage against them. To deal with Blackwings GB decks need to have Book of Moon, Compulsary Evacuation devices, and Enemy controllers in order stop them from swarming.
